TaxHelper has sold its TaxHelper Business activities and platform to Shine. This is part of a strategic collaboration to strengthen and further develop TaxHelper Business as an integrated part of the Shine ecosystem.
At the same time, TaxHelper will then have its full focus on our products for private individuals that help them make taxes simple.

There will be no changes.
You can continue using TaxHelper Business exactly as usual, including your existing integration to e-conomic. Everything will work as before - no changes or setup required.
Yes - nothing changes in your daily contact.
The same team you know from TaxHelper continues to provide support, onboarding and product development. So you can contact us with confidence, just as you always have.
Shine is a European financial platform that brings together the best solutions in invoicing, accounting, payroll, banking and payments - all in one system.
The company was founded in Copenhagen in 2012 and today has around 400 employees helping more than 450,000 businesses across Europe.
In Denmark, you may already know Shine through Billy by Shine - an easy-to-use accounting program designed to make bookkeeping and financial management easier for small businesses - and Salary, an easy-to-use payroll system.
Now TaxHelper Business is also becoming part of this ecosystem, with the goal of creating even more value for accountants, bookkeepers and their customers.
In practice, you will experience very few changes:
- You will continue to log in and use TaxHelper Business as usual
- Your licenses, data and settings remain unchanged
- Support and onboarding are still handled by the same team
- In the future, your invoicing will be done via Shine Denmark ApS
This means that you can continue working undisturbed - but with the added security that TaxHelper Business is now part of a larger organization with more resources and stronger development capacity.
The acquisition makes it possible to develop the product even faster and make it an integral part of Shine's accounting and AI solutions.
The goal is to fully automate bookkeeping and VAT - so both companies and accountants can avoid manual corrections.
In the long term, this means that the technology behind TaxHelper Business can help hundreds of thousands of small businesses across Europe remain VAT compliant, fully automatically.
The acquisition is of great importance for the future automation of accounting, bookkeeping and VAT. The product is proven in Denmark, but built to scale internationally - and work with German VAT rules has already begun.
For you as a customer, the transfer means no changes in prices or terms.
The acquisition only applies to TaxHelper Business (B2B part). The private products will continue independently.
